Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you take requests?

A: Unfortunately no, but I do commission work. Maps will start at $15. Message me for more info.

Q: Where do you get your base maps?

A: Here I also make use of maps provided by other creators.

Q: What programs do you use?

A: Almost exclusively Photoshop. I lack the knowledge to use programs like Illustrator.

Q: What if I want to use your work?

A: For most things, you can use my work. Though I ask that you give me credit and link both my profile and my work. However, I would also ask that you not use my work to advance some social or political cause or agenda. I'd rather keep my politics divorced from my work.

Q: Any favorite series?

A: I'll typically work on settings pertaining to Star Wars, Avatar, Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, Mass Effect, Halo, Killzone, Timeline-191, Kaiserreich, Dawn of Victory, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, and Stellaris.

Fixing Series

1 min read
I've talked with a few friends about possibly rewriting certain games, shows, movies, and books to flow better narratively speaking and it's partially inspired by Celtic Phoenix's Fixing RWBY series. The basic gist of what I'm thinking of doing isn't to make new stories, but rather give the core ideas needed touch ups to make them stand out. For example, there's a few levels of inconsistencies in Final Fantasy X that could be ironed out and help the story flow better. All of the events that transpire in the established media will be a thing, but there may be minor tweaks here and there to make things a bit more interesting beyond just rehashing what we already know.

So, I discovered some old notes I had written for an old Mario Bros. fanfic and it got the creative juices flowing and made me want to revisit the Amanita Chronicles. Originally the story was designed to cash in on the Bowsette meme, but as I began going through different drafts, I actually liked the idea of following SMG4's lead and bringing in some characters to interact with the Mario Bros characters. This is a mild crossover with the Meta Runner franchise and I discovered that I have a lot of fun with writing Belle Fontiere. If anyone has a desire to check the story out, please click the link. I'm already on Chapter Six: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14218695/1/Amanita-Chronicles-I-Allegiances

The biggest struggle and point of irritation of mine when writing a world or trying to come up with a scenario to explore in alternate history is avoiding the projection of bias. What bothers me is whenever I see a map or read someone’s writing, I can tell their politics, whether on the Left or the Right. To me, it’s incredibly dull and frustrating to see an exciting premise get ruined by the author’s own bias. Take the timeline Lee of the Union, for example. The premise is fascinating in that it supposes a scenario where Robert E. Lee decides to accept Lincoln’s command of the Army of the Potomac instead of following Virginia into the Confederacy. It was a fun scenario in and of itself, given that Lee’s tactics would’ve been better suited to the Union’s greater numbers and ability to afford the losses Lee tended to take. However, the story goes into the dangerous trap of asserting the author’s politics when Lee challenges and defeats Lincoln in the election of 1864. The idea then

Fuck you changed your name lol?

Here is something to addon on to the star trek rant. One problem I have with star trek is how they don't explore certian concepts. Take for example the iotians from a piece of action at the end of that episode, Mccoy has said that he left a communicator on that world. And that the iotians can take it apart, recreate it and then use it to get more info on the federation. And guess what they do nothing with that plotline, the iotians are never brought up again. We don't get to know if they learn more about space, we don't get to know if they start making spaceships of they're own, we don't get to see them again in space. The whole thing just ends there.

Same thing with the ekosians from a pattern of force, do they become a democracy, do they recreate the non racist version of national socialism made by John Gill or use some other ideology. We don't get a chance to know how are these aliens doing right know or what their life is like. It all just ends there.
